Scholarships
Scholarships and grants are a good way to fund your studies and are open to a wide range of students. Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences provides a range of different scholarships and grants.
Scholarship of the Ülo Pärnits Education Foundation

The application deadline is 1 May

The scholarship aims to support and recognize students and lecturers who excel in teaching and research in their exploratory research (studies, dissertation or master's thesis, scientific publication) related to the development areas of Ülemiste City as a future city. The research should be of practical value and contribute to addressing issues facing Ülemiste City.

Up to three scholarships will be awarded each year, with a minimum value of one scholarship being EUR 2000.

The scholarship contest will be announced at least one month before the application deadline through the information channels of EUAS Mainor.

To apply for the scholarship, students must submit an application with the required documents through the study information system ÕIS, while lecturers should send their application to stipendium@eek.ee.

EUAS Mainor Academic achievement scholarship

The application deadline is 31 August

The objective of the scholarship is to value and recognise the outstanding academic achievements of full-time students at the Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences and to promote fulfilment of academic goals. Scholarships are appointed by a decision of the scholarship committee once a year based on rankings.

The value of one scholarship is 900 euros per academic year

Up to 5 scholarships will be awarded

In order to apply for the scholarship, student must submit an application and a motivation letter through the study information system ÕIS.

City Council Scholarship

The monetary value of a scholarship is 1,000 euros.

The scholarship is intended to support and acknowledge Master’s whose Master’s thesis or research paper addresses a topic related to the fields of activity of the City of Tallinn as a local government, has an applicable value for the city, and contributes to the solution of a problem the City of Tallinn is facing.

  • The application deadline is 
  • The structural unit of the university or the student’s supervisor can nominate a candidate.

Kristjan Jaak Scholarships

Applications are accepted four times a year, on March 1, June 1, October 1 and December 1.

The Kristjan Jaak Programme awards mobility scholarships to the MA and PhD students and young faculty members. The scholarships are open to the applicants from all subject areas.

Applications are accepted in three categories:

  • The scholarships for degree studies abroad are available for individuals beginning or continuing their PhD/MA studies at a recognised university abroad and willing to return to Estonia after graduation. The applicant must be able to speak Estonian on a communication level. The deadline for applications is once a year, onApril, 1.
  • The scholarships for study period abroad are created for MA and PhD students wishing to spend part of their studies abroad. The scholarship period can last from one to twelve months based on individual need. Applications are accepted twice a year, on May 1 and on October 15.
  • The scholarship aimed for supporting short-time visits are awarded for visits abroad that last up to 30 days. These may involve participation in the conferences, intensive courses, visiting libraries or labs, fieldwork, meeting the relevant experts, preparation of teaching material or any other study, research or teaching related activity. The scholarship can be applied for by MA and PhD students, resident physicians and young faculty members (aged up to 35 years of age or 5 years from the defence of their PhD). Applications are accepted four times a year, on March 1, June 1, October 1 and December 1.
  • The calls for applications are opened in the application system one month before the application deadline.

RKRN Bachelor’s and Master’s Thesis Scholarship Competition

The scholarship is intended for students of the Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences who have defended their Bachelor’s or Master’s thesis this year and received the grade “excellent”.

The financial value of the scholarship is 500 euros

The chairpersons of the Bachelor’s and Master’s thesis defense committees have the right to nominate the candidates.

The evaluation committee will select two theses from amongst the submissions - the best Bachelor’s thesis and the best Master’s thesis.

The authors of the best theses and their supervisors will be recognised at the graduation ceremony.

Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences Master’s Scholarship Programme

Application deadline is 15 August

The aim of the scholarship programme is to offer opportunities for development to the top applied higher education graduates of Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences and to other outstanding students, support the university’s research groups and conduct research important to the university, AS Mainor, Ülemiste City and other cooperation partners.

There will be maximum of 5 tuition fee-free places allocated each academic year

To apply to the scholarship programme, students need to have:

  • completed a Bachelor’s or applied higher education programme at the Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences or another Estonian university;
  • received grade excellent (5) or very good (4) for their thesis;
  • an average grade of at least 4.0 in their previous studies.
