The course gives an overview of the approaches and stages in modern design processes. Participants obtain knowledge about incorporating users and involved parties into the design process, mapping out and documenting their needs and designing prototypes at different levels of detail. Students work in small groups (3-4 people) and create a prototype user interface meant for one or several platforms by the end of the course. The course addresses the following topics: Overview of user interface design process (different approaches, stages)
