This course focuses on basics of programming. After completing this course, the student is able to apply fundamental concepts of programming, knows object-oriented programming principles. This course also focuses on basic knowledge about application of automated testing framework and provides practical skills in unit testing.

A person who has passed the course
is familiar with of structured programming techniques and tools: linear-, selection- and iteration statements, methods, arrays, etc
is able of design, compose and test simple algorithms (sorting, searching, etc.).
has basic knowledge in area of OOP (familiar with terminology, principles, can compose and implement simple classes and objects).
