During the Erasmus+ Blended Intensive Program on "Discover Smart City Trends, Technologies & Innovations,” we welcomed 47 students from four different partner universities.

The students engaged in hands-on learning by working in international teams to solve business cases for Ülemiste Smart City. The program featured best practices and examples of sustainable Smart City management, focusing on how these cities ensure ecosystem resilience and sustainability. Additionally, the program delved into how data collection and analysis can drive innovative Smart City solutions.

The students also visited leading Estonian companies, including Stargate Hydrogen, Activate Health, Helmes, Thermory, Nortal, and Verston, and participated in business networking sessions with companies like ABB, Skeleton, Primend, and Töötukassa.

In addition to the academic activities, a variety of enjoyable events were organized. During the international evening, students showcased their home countries and shared traditional snacks. They also explored Tallinn’s Old Town and immersed themselves in Estonian culture, including learning the traditional Kaerajaan dance.

It was a week filled with knowledge and cultural exchange!
